What is Probiferrin
Lactoferrin is one of few proteins that can bypass stomach degradation, survive digestion, this is why Lactoferrin is in an abundance in breast milk. Lactoferrin binds to Lipo Receptor Proteins on the cell wall. Lactoferrin has been shown to improve the colonization of good bacteria (probiotics) while killing bad bacteria. Lactoferrin does this by chelating Iron which is necessary for bad bacteria to colonize.
